November 6th
1:00 pm** American Legion Toy & Tool Sale Christmas Auction at the community center in Strasburg. All items are NEW! Auction items include Craftsman tools, toys, metal signs, food items, figurines, baskets, wind spinners, china cabinets, yard ornaments, pie safes, bikes, trikes, ceramic dolls, lanterns, and much more. This is the perfect time to do your Christmas Shopping! A concession stand sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #289 will be available. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.

Shelbyville High School Drama Club presents "Clue: High School Edition". Tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for students. Veterans will be admitted free on Friday, Veteran's Day. The Culinary Club will be selling Clue Themed baked goods during the shows.
November 12th
6 - 11 am** Santa Brigade Breakfast and Market. St Paul's Lutheran Church in Strasburg. (111 S Walnut St) Pancake & Sausage breakfast will be from 6-10:30 am and the Christmas Market will be 7-11 am. Contact MaRanda McClain for booth space 217-343-7879. The breakfast is free will donation for dine in or carry out. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit community improvements.
10 am - 3 pm Holiday Bazaar, sponsored by Class of 2024 at Windsor School located at 1424 Minnesota Ave, Windsor, IL. There will be over 40 vendors to help you get your holiday shopping off to a great start.
4:30 - 7:30 pm** The Shelbyville Fire Dept Ladies Aux will hold their annual Soup Supper @ the Fire Station @ 110 N Heinlein Drive. Drive Thru Menu includes your choice of vegetable, chili, and chicken noodle. Cost is $5 per order. There will be limited in town delivery available to anyone 65 or over. Call 217-820-3335 or 217-273-5568 Saturday before 3 pm for delivery.

8 am - 2 pm Windsor Methodist Church Bazaar. There will be crafts, kountry kitchen items, baked goods. A lunch will start at 11 am and will have chili, vegetable, and oyster stew, sandwiches, desserts, drinks. (Carryout available with limited indoor seating) 217-459-2232.

**Shelbyville Festival of Lights in Forest Park
November 18th
5:00 pm-??** Shelbyville Festival of Lights kickoff for 2022 will be a Santa drive-thru with cookies and milk. There will also be music in the Chautauqua and the Festival of Trees begins.
November 19th
8:30 am - 1 pm** Holiday in Herrick. at Community Bldg. Lunch will be served from 10:30-12:30. pointsettia sale by the HS FFA. Donut Dollies food truck will be there. Santa arrives at 10 am. There will be multiple craft vendors, 50/50 drawings, lottery board, Herrick Centennial Cookbooks for Sale. This is also the annual fundraiser for Herrick's 4th of July Celebration.
November 24th
11 am - 1 pm** Community Thanksgiving Dinner at First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville.
The meals will be PICK-UP only. They may be picked up at the Walnut Street entrance to Fellowship Hall. Please call 217-774-4131 with the number of meals needed.
November 26th
9:00 am - 2:00 pm**

Christmas on Main in Moweaqua.
Parade lineup at Firehouse at 8:40 am and ready to roll at 9 am. Decorate your golf cart, SxS, bike or classic car and join them in welcoming Santa into town. Prizes awarded for best decorated.

Stores will have specials, arts, crafts, etc throughout. There will be a breakfast at the American Legion from 7-10 am with biscuits & gravy, donuts, coffee, juice (Adults are $5, Kids 12 & under $3.) 8:00 am 5K Run/Walk (Pre-register or register from 7:15-7:45 at Creation Station-125 S Main) At 9 am the Santa's Kickoff parade. 30+ Vendors from 10a-2p There will also be Rork's Pork BBQ, a hot chocolate bar. Santa Clause will be at Village Hall from 10:30-1:30. There will be cookies and crafts with Santa, Rack wagon rides, train rides & bounce house (weather permitting) and a Scavenger Hunt. Wreath Auction. There will also be a chili cookoff with a $20 entry fee and 3 winners.

November 27th
1:00 pm**

Golf Ball Drop at Strasburg Community Park. $100 a ticket, 100 tickets sold. Tickets correspond to numbered golf balls dropped from above. Golf Ball closest to the flag wins. In event of tie, money will be split equally. Winner doe not need to be present to win. Must be 18 years old to buy a ticket. Tickets can be purchased from a committee member or at the Shelby County State Bank in Strasbutg. Food trucks will be at the park from 11 am - 2 pm. The event will be rain or shine. Proceeds from this will go to the 2024 Strasburg 150th Anniversary Celebration.

December 3rd

3 pm - 6 pm**

Shelbyville Vendor Fair at the Chautauqua in Forest Park. There will be food, craft, and direct sale vendors. There will also be music and opportunities for pictures at different booths. Festival of Trees will also be on display.
3:30 pm - 7:30 pm** Windsor Wonderland, Santa will be at the Storm Library from 3:30-5. A Christmas Carnival with games and activities runs from 5-7 pm on Maine Street and the Christmas Tree lighting will be at 7 pm at the Post Office.
December 3rd
10:00 am** FREE Christmas Movie at the Roxy Theatre
10 am - 3 pm** 7th Annual Old Fashion Downtown Christmas. Downtown Businesses will be open. A FREE Movie (TBA) at the Roxy at 10 am. Santa will be at Corner Copy (Kids can stand or sit next to Santa for pics) There will be wagon rides from 11:30am-1:30 pm starting from the mini park. 217-273-5358
2 - 4 pm** KIDS: Come and join Santa & Mrs Claus along with special guest Frosty at the Shelbyville VFW Post 4829 at 513 S Cedar. There will be an evening of fun and Christmas Cheer. There will be ornament crafts, goodie bags and treats.

Christmas Store in Community Bldg in Strasburg sponsored by the Strasburg American Legion Auxiliary. Deco glass blocks, Rada, homemade goodies and much more. Liberty Unit #289 of the American Legion Auxiliary’s Christmas Store has evolved into an Annual Cookie Walk with Christmas goodies for everyone’s Christmas pleasure. Items include homemade noodles, homemade cookies and candies, plus Rada cutlery. Shoppers select the cookies and candies they want and put in a box. Box is then weighed with price at $5 per pound.

Profits from the Christmas Store will be used by the Auxiliary for community projects and items for veterans.
December 10th
10:00 am** FREE Christmas Movie at the Roxy Theatre
9 am - 2 pm** Christmas Craft & Vendor Fair at Shelby Christian Church. 200 N Hickory, Shelbyville. There will be lots of vendors, a silent auction, bake sale, Paddi's Air Filled Fun, and Rork's Post will start serving at 11 am.
9:30-11 am** Visit with Santa at the Strasburg Community Center.

7:00 pm** 59th Annual Christmas Cantata at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Strasburg. Choirs from Grace Lutheran, St. Paul's Lutheran in Sigel and Strasburg, and Trinity Lutheran will combine to entertain you. 217-644-2452
December 17th
10:00 am** FREE Christmas Movie at the Roxy Theatre
1 - 5 pm Willow Ridge Winery will be having Sleigh Rides from 1-4 and Andy Reuter will entertain from 2-5. Pauly's BBQ will be available for purchase.
1 pm - 3 pm** Santa will be riding on the Tower Hill firetruck visiting every house in town! Santa will drive every street in Tower Hill starting at 1 PM on Saturday December 17. Be sure to be outside for a meet and greet. Santa will even have a goodie bag for all the boys and girls. If the weather is bad Santa will park the Fire Truck at the Village Hall and you can visit him there. Merry Christmas everyone!!
