November 8th
6 - 11 am** Santa Brigade Breakfast and Market. St Paul's Lutheran Church in Strasburg. (511 S Walnut St) Pancake & Sausage breakfast will be from 6-10:30 am and is a freee will donation with dine in or carry out. Bulk sausage will also be available by the pound. The Christmas Market will be 7-11 am. Contact MaRanda McClain for booth space 217-343-7879. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit community improvements.
8 am - 2 pm Windsor Methodist Church Bazaar. There will be crafts, baked goods, and country store all day. Lunch will be served from 11 am-2pm and will have chili or oyster soup, ham & cheese sandwiches, desserts of cake, pie, & cookies..
4 - 7:30 pm**  Shelbyville Fire Department AYCE Dine In Soup Supper.  at the Fire Department on Heinlein Dr.  $7 per meal, kids 5 & under FREE.  Serving Chicken noodle soup, vegetable soup, and chili, hotdogs, and peanut butter sandwiches, lemonade, water, and tea. 
November 20th
5:30 pm-7:30 pm** Shelbyville Festival of Lights Walk Thru for Festival of Lights and Festival of Trees. Forest Park will be closed to all vehicle traffic from 5-8 pm.
November 21st
3 pm** Christmas Parade. This parade will start at the High School and go down 6th St to N Morgan and then go North to Forest Park. This is to kick of the Light Festival and Festival of Trees. For more info contact the Chamber at 217-774-2221.
5:00 pm-??** Shelbyville Festival of Lights kickoff for 2025. FREE Christmas Concert by Shelbyville Student Music Groups from 5:30-8 pm. FREE Cookies with Santa from 5-7 pm. These will be in the Chautauqua along with the Festival of Trees. The Light Festival will officially kick off.

5 - 8 pm** Shelbyville Festival of Trees at the Chautauqua in Forest Park. Be sure to stop in and see all the decorated trees during the holiday season while you visit the lights. Vote for your favorite tree(s). These displays are only open Friday-Sunday during the event.
November 22nd
8:30 am - 1 pm** Holiday in Herrick. at Community Bldg. Lunch will be served from 10:30-12:30. Pointsettia sale by the C-H HS FFA. A food truck will be there. Santa arrives at 10 am. There will be multiple craft vendors, 50/50 drawings, lottery board. Herrick Centennial Cookbooks will also be for sale. This is also the annual fundraiser for Herrick's 4th of July Celebration.

11 am - 1 pm or run out Community Thanksgiving Dinner at First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville.
The meals will be PICK-UP only. They may be picked up at the Walnut Street entrance to Fellowship Hall. Please call 217-774-4131 with the number of meals needed. 250 dinners, 1st come, 1st served

Christmas on Main in Moweaqua. This year's theme is Gingerbread
Christmas Movie with Mrs Clause. Village Tree Lighting, a Lighted Parade
Stores will have specials, arts, crafts, etc throughout.

10 am - 2 pm** Downtown Holiday Ornament Walk in Shelbyville. Join the downtown crew as they help you celebrate SMALL BIZ SATURDAY and help you with adding ornaments to your Christmas tree!
Make a purchase of $10.00 or more and you will receive a FREE ORNAMENT!!
(while supplies last, first 50 customers to each participating business.)

3 pm - 9:30 pm** Christmas in a One Cow Town (Stewardson) Community Bldg. Christmas Train on Main(Free Will Donation) Real snowball launch on Main, Adult Door Hanger craft, reindeer food bar, merry moomory luminaries, snowball area on main, live festiva llamas on main, farm petting zoo on main, photo ops, ornament painting, Vendors at the Legion Bldg (3-7), Life size snow globe, adopt a penguin and polar bear, Coca-Cola bears and Olaf meet and greet. Cookie walk, hot cocoa bar, live nativity at Trinity Lutheran, Santa and the Grinch, Scavenger hunt at Brew Bank at 8:30 pm. Food Trucks by Hilltop Butcher Shoppe and Catering, Sizzlin Tizzler, The Caffinator.
7:00 pm** Lighted Parade in Stewardson. Line up at 6:30 with parade starting at 7 pm. All lit, decorated vehicles are welcome; cars, trucks, golf carts, atv's, tractors, lawn mowers, animals, walking teams. Hand outs and candy welcome, but not necessary. No registration needed. (Theme is Christmas Songs)

Moweaqua in Motion. Drive through town to tour the residential and commercial displays throughout the season.

10:00 am** FREE Christmas Movie at the Roxy Theatre-ELF rated PG with a running time of 97 minutes.  Concessions will be available for purchase. Downtown Shelbyville.      
10 am - 3 pm** 10th Annual Old Fashion Downtown Christmas. Downtown Businesses will be open. A FREE Movie (TBA) at the Roxy at 10 am. Santa will be at Corner Copy (Kids can stand or sit next to Santa for pics) There will be wagon rides from 11:30am-1:30 pm starting from the mini park. 217-273-5358.  Shelbyville. 
5-7 pm** Windsor Wonderland. A Christmas Carnival with games and activities runs from 5-7. Santa will be at the Storm Library from 4-5:30. Christmas Tree lighting at 7 by the Post Office. All in Windsor.
5:30-8 pm** FREE Christmas Concert featuring "Kevin Herron & Friends" and there will be FREE Santa Photo Ops from 5-7 pm.

4:00 - 9:00 pm Christmas in the Park at Cowden Community Park. Chili, hotdogs, and desserts served at 4 pm. Santa and Mrs Claus will visit at 5 along with the tree lighting. There will be an appearance by The Grinch, a LIVE Nativity, silent auction and a drive-thru light display. There will also be Christmas Olympics with the Jr High and High School vs Adults.

2 - 4 pm KIDS: Come and join Santa Claus along with special guest Frosty at the Shelbyville VFW Post 4829 at 513 S Cedar. There will be an evening of fun and Christmas Cheer. There will be ornament crafts, goodie bags and treats.
7:00 pm 59th Annual Christmas Cantata at Trinity Lutheran in Stewardson. Choirs from Grace Lutheran, St. Paul's Lutheran in Sigel and Strasburg, and Trinity Lutheran will combine to entertain you. 217-644-2452

Christmas Store in Community Bldg in Strasburg sponsored by the Strasburg American Legion Auxiliary. Deco glass blocks, Rada, homemade goodies and much more. Liberty Unit #289 of the American Legion Auxiliary’s Christmas Store has evolved into an Annual Cookie Walk with Christmas goodies for everyone’s Christmas pleasure. Items include homemade noodles, homemade cookies and candies, plus Rada cutlery. Shoppers select the cookies and candies they want and put in a box. Box is then weighed with price at $5 per pound.

Profits from the Christmas Store will be used by the Auxiliary for community projects and items for veterans.

The Showcase of Trees will also be happening during the store hours. You can vote for your favorite with $1 a vote. Trees will be in the community building till New Years.

December 13th
9:30-11 am Visit with Santa at the Strasburg Community Center.
10:00 am** FREE Christmas Movie at the Roxy Theatre. "The Best Chrsitmas Pageant Ever" rated PG with a running time of 99 minutes. Downtown Shelbyville. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Be sure to be outside for a meet and greet. Santa will even have a goodie bag for all the boys and girls. If the weather is bad Santa will park the Fire Truck at the Village Hall and you can visit him there. Merry Christmas everyone!!
5:30-8 pm** Storytime with Mrs Claus at the Senior Center in Forest Park, Shelbyville. Come and listen to Mrs Claus as she reads a Christmas story. There will be free cookies and santa will visit too.
