September 8 am - ?? Strasburg Town Wides Sales and Flea Market.
September 28* 11 am - 4 pm Oconee Family Fall Festival at Sacred Heart Church. Pumpkin Painting, Putt Putt Golf, Straw Maze, Water Balloons, Hay Rides, Model A Rides, Kiddie Play Area, Animal Barrel Rides.  There is also plenty of food.

Ladies Quilt Raffle and a Jack O Pot Raffle.
September 28* 1-4 pm Harvest Gathering at Willow Ridge Winery in Westervelt.
Mark your calendars!! Annual fall vendor fair will be featuring local vendors with handmade goods, boutique clothing, vintage and so much more. This will be a fun filled day of shopping and wine! Bring your friends and make a day of it!

October 11* 9am - 5 pm Scarecrow Daze Fesitval in downtown Shelbyville. Vendors, entertainment, food

October 9th*   11 am - 4 pm Hay Ride for People with Mobility Restrictions. Meet at the Aquatic Center Parking Lot. RSVP to 217-774-3951, ext 7047 to reserve, limited seating. Rides will begin at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm.
October 19th* 11:30 am-1 pm Hog Roast and Silent Auction at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Strasburg.
October 24* 5 pm - 8 pm Strasburg Annual Halloween Celebration: Call 217-644-3007 for information. Soup Supper 5 pm and will have chicken noodle soup, chili, polish sausage, BBQ, hotdogs, sloppy dogs, nachos & cheese, sloppy nachos, pie, and drinks. Parade will start at 7 pm and will be lef by the Stew-Stras drum line, Judging 7:30 pm, with categories of under 3, sotrybook/fairy tale, TV & movies, monsters, ghosts & witches, superhero, princesses, occupational, animals, couples, group, misc, adults. (Prizes will be awarded in each category. ) Cake Walk at 8 pm. Free Merchants drawing, 50/50 drawing. Sponsored by the American Legion Post 289 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 289.
October 5 - 7 pm Stewardson Halloween Parade of Costumes. S-S Drumline 6:00 pm, Contest 6:15 pm, Cake walk to follow, serving soups, sandwiches, hot dogs, and drinks 5-7 pm.

October 5 - 8 pm Trick or Treat at Villas of Holly Brook in Shelbyville. 2201 W Main St.
October 26th* 2 - 4 pm Kids Halloween Party at VFW Post 4829 in Shelbyville. Fun for ages 12 & under. Weenie Roast an dchili, costume judging, treats. 513 S Cedar.
October 31* 5 pm - 6:30 pm Trunk or Treat at the park in Windsor. There will also be games and food.
October 5 - 7 pm Indoor Trick or Treat at Tower Hill Village Municipal Bldg. If you'd like to set up a table to hand out. call 217-567-3521 by 10/18.
October 29* 6 - 8 pm Shelbyville Candy Run. Participating businesses will have a table or stand set up near or inside the Chautauqua Building.  There will also be a sensory friendly walk from 5:30-6 pm.   There will be candy, goodies, and mini games.  Drink and dessert trailers, Halloween music.  A costume contest from 6-6:30.  Family friendly Karaoke at 7 pm.  There will be photo-ops and more.   
October 5:30 - 8 pm Halloween in Herrick at Herrick Community Bldg. . There will be a dinner walking taco, chili, hotdogs, chips, and dessert with prices ranging from $1-$7. The costume contest judging is at 7 pm with prizes.
October 25* 5 - 7:30 pm Windsor Soup Supper and Parade. Soup supper begins at 5 pm at the Legion. The parade will start at 6:30 at the Library and head to the Legion. Then at 7 pm is the costume judging at the Legion.
October 22nd* 6:30-7:30 pm Trunk or Treat at Holy Cross Lutheran Church at 1201 N Chestnut in Shelbyville.  
October 31st* 5 - 8 pm Trunk or Treat at Findlay Methodist Church parking lot.
October 6 - 8 pm Cowden's Trick or Treat Night. Please remember to only go to houses with the porch light on. Make sure your parents check your treats before consuming.

November 2* 1:00 pm American Legion Christmas Auction. This auction sells all new products to help you kick off your holiday shopping.
November 8* 6-11 am Santa Brigade Breakfast starts at 6 am with the Christmas Market starting at 7 am. At St. Pual's Hall and Gym in Strasburg.
November 14th & November 15th 6 pm The Greatest Show Dinner Theatre at Shelbyville High School. Tickets must be purchased by 11/13/25. Catering by Debs. Menu includes Fried chicken, ham, chicken noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, green beans, rolls, tea, lemonade, and dessert. Adult tickets are $25 with meal, Child tickets are $15 with meal. For bleacher seating with no meal-tickets are $10. You can purchase tickets at the high school office.
November 21st* 5-?? Festival of Trees will kick off this evening at the Chautauqua in Forest Park, Shelbyville.
November 21st* 5-10 pm Fesitval of Lights will kick off this evening in Forest Park, Shelbyville.
November 8th*  4:00 - 7:30 pm Dine In Soup Supper at the Shelbyville Fire Station on N Heinlein Dr. AYCE soups of Vegetable, Potato, or Chili. There will also be hot dogs and peanut butter sandwiches, lemonade, tea, and water. Sorry, No delivery will be available. Adults $7 kids 6-11 are $3 5 & under FREE. All proceeds go towards equipment for training purposes.
