EVENT SCHEDULE

September 8 am - ?? Strasburg Town Wides Sales and Flea Market.
September 24th* 11 am - 4 pm Oconee Family Fall Festival at Sacred Heart Church. Pumpkin Painting, Putt Putt Golf, Straw Maze, Water Balloons, Hay Rides, Model A Rides, Kiddie Play Area, Animal Barrel Rides.  There is also plenty of food.

Ladies Quilt Raffle and a Jack O Pot Raffle.

September 29th* 12-5 pm Harvest Gathering at Willow Ridge Winery in Westervelt.
There will be local vendors with handmade goods, boutique clothing, vintage and so much more! Bricks Exquisite Eats onsite for food purchases. This will be a fun filled day of shopping and wine!
Andy Reuter will perform from 1-4 pm

October 12* 9am - 5 pm Scarecrow Daze Fesitval in downtown Shelbyville. Vendors, entertainment, food

October 10* 11 am - 4 pm Hay Ride for People with Mobility Restrictions. Meet at the Aquatic Center Parking Lot. RSVP to 217-774-3951, ext 7047 to reserve, limited seating. Rides will begin at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm.
October 23* 6:30-7:30 pm Trunk or Treat at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Shelbyville. 1201 N Chestnut St. Candy, Games, Prizes
October 26th* 5 pm - 8 pm Strasburg Annual Halloween Celebration: Call 217-644-3007 for information. Soup Supper 5 pm and will have chicken noodle soup, chili, polish sausage, BBQ, hotdogs, sloppy dogs, nachos & cheese, sloppy nachos, pie, and drinks. Parade will start at 7 pm and will be lef by the Stew-Stras drum line, Judging 7:30 pm, with categories of under 3, sotrybook/fairy tale, TV & movies, monsters, ghosts & witches, superhero, princesses, occupational, animals, couples, group, misc, adults. (Prizes will be awarded in each category. ) Cake Walk at 8 pm. Free Merchants drawing, 50/50 drawing. Sponsored by the American Legion Post 289 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 289.
October 25th* 5 - 7 pm Stewardson Halloween Parade of Costumes. S-S Drumline 6:00 pm, Contest 6:15 pm, Cake walk to follow, serving soups, sandwiches, hot dogs, and drinks 5-7 pm.
October 26th* 10 am - 4 pm Hometown Hero Days at Tractor Supply in Shelbyville. Touch-A-Truck: learn about safety and get to see a firetruck up lcose with the local fire department. Come and grab a bite from Bubba's Burgers & Dogs. Grab a sweet treat from Margaret's Sweet Treats. (Freeze dried candies)
October 31st* 5 - 8 pm Trick or Treat at Villas of Holly Brook in Shelbyville. 2201 W Main St.
October 27th* 2:00 pm Kids Halloween Party at VFW Post 4829 in Shelbyville. Fun for ages 12 & under. Weenie Roast an dchili, costume judging, treats.
October 25th* 5 pm - 6:30 pm Trunk or Treat at 1300 Maine St in Windsor. The Legion will host a soup supper and costume contest. For more info call 217-459-2498 or 217-251-7051.
October 26th* 5 - 7 pm Indoor Trick or Treat at Tower Hill Village Municipal Bldg. If you'd like to set up a table to hand out. call 217-567-3521 by 10/18.
October 30th** 6 - 8 pm Downtown Shelbyville Candy Run. Participating businesses will have a table or stand set up near or inside the front door and will have a Candy stop sign on their window or door. (Businesses: if you would like to participate, please contact 217-774-7806)
October 26th* 5:30 - 8 pm Halloween in Herrick at Herrick Community Bldg. . There will be a dinner walking taco, chili, hotdogs, chips, and dessert with prices ranging from $1-$7. The costume contest judging is at 7 pm with prizes.
October 26th* 5 - 7:30 pm Windsor Soup Supper and Parade. Soup supper begins at 5 pm at the Legion. The parade will start at 6:30 at the Library and head to the Legion. Then at 7 pm is the costume judging at the Legion.
October 8 pm - Mid Jimmy D's Halloween Bash. Costume Judging at 11 pm-1st-3rd place. Dancing, Music

October 6 - 8 pm Cowden's Trick or Treat Night. Please remember to only go to houses with the porch light on. Make sure your parents check your treats before consuming.

October 6 - 8 pm Safe Trick or Treat at Villas of Holly Brook. Bring your little ones for a safe trick or treat and let the residents see all the kids in their costumes.

  4:00 - 7:30 pm Dine In Soup Supper at the Shelbyville Fire Station on N Heinlein Dr. AYCE soups of Vegetable, Potato, or Chili. There will also be hot dogs and peanut butter sandwiches, lemonade, tea, and water. Sorry, No delivery will be available. Adults $7 kids 6-11 are $3 5 & under FREE. All proceeds go towards equipment for training purposes.
